The Importance of Structure in Organized Play
The best organized play campaigns do what they can to feel like home games while still maintaining the structure that's necessary to hold up the campaign. And sometimes the campaign grows too large and you lose that home game feel as you were talking about Mike filling out a tax form at the end of each game. There does need to be some support to help people understand the campaign itself that they're in. Even the story facets of it, to remember they may have played one adventure and three months later, they play the next adventure in our series.
