The Impact of Endometriosis on Women
Endometriosis is thought to affect between 6 and 10% of women. It's a major cause of pelvic pain and problems with conceiving and carrying a pregnancy. Despite the prevalence, it takes on average between eight and nine years for a woman to be diagnosed after her first visit to the doctor. On top of this, we still don't fully understand its cause. But one thing is certain. There's no way to underestimate the impact that endometriosis can have. The people who suffer from it are in terrible condition.
