What's the Funding Picture for Nuclear Philanthropy?
The Carnegie Corporation of New York is one of the leading foundations here. Until recently, the MacArthur Foundation was the largest funder in the world. The total figure for all philanthropic funding for nuclear weapons issues at around $50 million a year. That's just not very much money in terms of philanthropy.
