Plato and Aristotle - The Top of Substance

The relationship between plato and aristotle is rarely a simple one, i'll be exploring in these episodes on aristotelian works. We've already seen that plato was very interested in the natural world too, especially from his dialogue the timaeus. And as we'll see later, aristotle's ethics present a life of pure contemplation as superior even to the life of practical virtue. Aristotle thinks that plato is deeply wrong about this.
