How to Choose the Right Workout for Your Athlete
I like to think of it as in the base season, we're building the base of that pyramid as wide as possible. Early build phase, we want to do kind of the workouts that are going to hit all of those components to build that peak. And then as you get closer to your races, we wants to use that peak with race specific training. So there's, so there is like the mental toughness standpoint, which that's actually a reason why you would select one workout over another.
