The idea of training different muscle fiber types, so trying to train a fast switch muscle fiber versus slow twitch, can we target different muscle fibers via our programming? Yeah, I've actually come to some sort of revelation quite a while ago, but I don't think I've written about it much. The research is simply very mixed. If you look at the Russian literature, it's clear, it's very clear, not just in one study but in multiple studies that high reps target the type 1 fibers more and low reps target thetype 2 fibers more.
