The Relationship Between Autonomy and Performance

In the research we do measure them. So we try and understand what's the effect of these things on these other things. We've been doing with NASA, where we've been using like diaries to assess people when they're off on expeditions. The consequences of those outcomes being better is the next day you also report higher autonomy. There's a sort of, and then the same thing for relatedness and competence. If we can start to build some of that stuff, we can forward influence what's going to happen in the coming days - which is a really nice finding.
