The book is certainly not about a diet but it's but it grabs our attention right away how food plays a role in the book. Food is uh it's complex in this novel absolutely and i think the initial response i think it was her husband when she decided to not eat meat there's real resistance right from from that characterYeah thanks for sharing that hon the way you've articulated this and just the polarity of human condition you know such brutality and such bravery and dignity in the same incident.
