Researchers found that when participants completed the ario, if people said the general population was likely to do either sign the release or to not sign the release, they also themselves stated. We tend to assume others are like us, and so we'll make judgments in the same way. This is why we want to put so much effort into observing users, not just trusting a of what we anticipate users to do. Because our designs are very contectual. Our users change. Their behaviours change. And we want to make sure that we're testing those assumptions.
