The squat was my attempt to bring a new, fresh state of mind into the word squats. We replace it with sitting, which is not very comfortable and doesn't work well. The totally safe system is has nothing to offer. Practically nothing is totally safe. But there will always be unique individuals which need something else. And this does a lot of good for digestive problems, for lower back pain, for heap pains, for knees and generally for aging.
