Elber Hizak: I had to completely take off weight bearing, which becomes a challenge when you return to running. Even an easy run is going to generate some soreness that would definitely not be there in the past. You're just going to mostly need to kind of re adapt a lot of that skeletal muscle and those impact forces are going to need to be easily reintroduced. The last question is about preparation for athletes who want to run ultras. i'm preparing to make an attempt at dead lifting 500 pounds and running 50 miles in one day.
