The Importance of Adapting to Change
My mom had never seen the inside of a hotel. Never eaten in a restaurant. For her, it was like a five star life the first two years and then come to Bangalore and have kids and then the drudgery begins. So I think she didn't really take too married life very well. And my father was not an easy man to be with. He wanted everything that his mother did for him plus a wife plus somebody who takes care of the house plus someone take care of the kids. She's much more chill now. She's happier now. And she's found herself. Very heartening.
He gave up a staggeringly successful career to live a quiet life -- and now he shares his wisdom with us.
