Sally Kohn was diagnosed with depression when she was in her mid-30s. She had lost a lot of weight and couldn't sleep at all, but didn't know what to do about it. Her doctor put her on Prozac - which made the situation seem even worse. After months of trying different things, she went to see an Alexander teacher who taught her table work. The teaching method is known as "Alexander Table Work" for its ability to make people sit up without moving their arms or legs.
