Are You Walking or Running?
There are some important differences between walking and running on steep incline. Even though you don't leave the ground during steep uphill running, it's still a bouncing movement. And what that may do at the local fatigue level, we don't have super good evidence of this, is it may affect blood flow. So if you are running, there's less time in between contractions of your calf muscles. That may be important for reducing or minimizing the fatigue.
