The Importance of Long Muscle Longevity
Berto: Performance and hypertrophy aren't necessarily the same thing. Data right now does indicate to me that training at short muscle length doesn't provide any additional benefit. The jury is relatively still out as to some muscles potentially not benefiting from this as much or maybe even benefiting from different muscle lengths, I don't know. If you're only 50% of your way through like reaching your potential that you can get in the next 10 years, that can be time wasted if it is a little too extreme or a little too gimmicky.
