Getting a Quantitative Look at Your Customer Data Base
Step one is just pulling quantitative customer data, which i think for any of our listeners, you can start doing this to day. Just look, have a really fulsome look, and do some analysis of your current customer base. Then, what are you looking for there? You're looking for the first and most obvious thing, but we've actually had some pretty big picnes, just with this cut of the data. If 80 % of your customers and 80 % of the customers that you feel good about are from a particular industry or industry sub segment, that is something you should pay attention to. And it's not always obvious without pulling that data and forcing yourself to look at it
