How I Subverted the First Person Shooter to Make Something Other

I was interviewing at Infinity word and they were like, Tanya, we love you. But also, it is very clear you don't want to make a shooter. I had taken the hammer engine from Half-Life 2 and instead made an adventure puzzle with head crab experiments or something. The same for all the other engines. It was just like, oh yeah, I guess I don't. Yeah. And, but yeah, so where did you, I mean, where did you want to go and where did you apply and like, what happened?
