Is It Really the Right Sequence to Study Statistics?

I think statistics would be an extremely great example, because basically, you're trying to find the best way to study something. So i think statistics in terms are like studying it chronologically, like studying mass chronologically. The trajectory in history of the development of the domain, it's very logical to study it in that order. I don't know if anyone has very strong feelings about studying mathematics chronologically,. but my intuition is that probably you don't want to get too caught up in it outside of a domains such as statistics or probability.
