The story of how fachism evolves in spain bears a lot less resemblance to what's happened in america than either of the two stories we've discussed so far. But while there the similarities are a lot less direct, i actually think there's a lot here that's valuable. The birth of fashism in spain was woven into the birth of democracy itself. And i think that's a really important story.
