The Effects of Intermittent Activity on Health
A new study has been looking at people who don't really do formal exercise. They've been wearing activity monitors to see what bursts of vigorous activity do for their health. People that are displaying this intermittent activity can reduce risk of major diseases such as heart disease and cancer by up to 50%. That's not bad for doing the dishes, the laundry, the hoovering and playing with the kids.
