Adaptation Zone

Most runners can run for, say, 15 minutes without getting injured. But if some runners get to ou no, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, it can surpass the threshold of what those tissues tolerate. And so somewhere just below that limit is your adaptation zone. It's an amount of load that doesn't increase symptoms, doesn't flare you but can still be stimulating enough to build you up and get stronger.
