How Did the Chili Enter China?
The chili doesn't go anywhere outside of the americas until columbus im he probably brought back, not on his first voyage, but his second voyage, back to spain. The main place it crops up there is in monastery gardens as a decorative plant. There's no evidence that chilie pepper was ever a trade commodity until we get into the twentieth century.
