Is This Inner Voice Normal?

The practice is noticing what's on your mind, in awareness, and then choosing to come back to your breath. Over and over again, returning to the breath, each time you notice, it's like doing a bicep curl for your brain. And when I teach meditation, I don't describe it as some mystical or magical thing. It's just mental training. Each time that happens, you are strengthening those muscles and making it so that you can continue holding your attention and your focus for longer periods of time.
