The Effects of Serotonin on Depression
There's been some studies that show that serotonin doesn't really have an impact on mood, which I don't agree with. And one of the genes that we all looked at was a serotonin transporter gene that could put you at risk of depression if you had two short versions of this promoter. So we did this experiment in the lab, and we tried to keep it all sort of, you know, personally, like, kashash,. But in fact, it looked like most people in the lab actually had a greater risk for depression. They had two short short alleles, including me.
