The Importance of Having a Separate Growth Function

I think often with early stage companies who are consciously thinking about how the company grows, they won't be optimizing for it pre-product market fit. And you know, having that in mind enables kind of experimentation around those kinds of things within the core product team. I think what where it becomes different is when you start to take on more and more customers, you want to expand into things like enterprise scenarios. You need to invest more effort in like governance features and things like that. Some of the growth optimization work, you know, both smaller optimizations and bigger bets, that becomes a whole stream of work that should happen or that would benefit from being ring fenced.
