What's the Difference Between Justice and Fairness?

John Rawls' thought experiment was to imagine how you would design society if your enemy was going to assign you a place in it. He said we shouldn't reason from false premises, but this is just a type of heuristic. In many languages, there actually isn't a distinction between justice and fairness. So the idea of procedural justice is an essential contribution of Rawls.
