The Importance of Muscle Protein Synthesis

It's not a direct correlation. And that's really important to point out because we do get so hyper focused on reasoning. Just because you had a increased protein synthesis for two hours after a breakfast meal, that doesn't mean that a month later, you're going to have a lot more muscle mass. It's just not that clean of an answer. The protection of many things in the body, lean body mass, skeletal muscle mass, is a key component.
