How to Deal With Rejections on a Job Hunt

I tell people to treat your job hunt like an experiment, and you can't perform an experiment if you're not tracking all the variables. I'm curious how many rejections did you get before you got the first official UX gig? I mean, I got pretty lucky to be totally fair. And sort of ironically, the Home Depot gig that I ultimately ended up taking in a minute was one that reached out to me.
