Chronic stress causes long term damage to our brains and our bodies. Research has linked heart disease, auto immune disease, adrenal fatigue, anxiety, depression and many, many other symptoms to this chronic stress. It also packs our subconscious mind. We fall into that fight flight or freeze response quite habitually, and we become familiar in that space. So not only does stress impact our bodies, for many of us, it becomes our base line. For me personally here, even in this podcast, we record these podcasts, and then afterwards, it feels like i've blacked out.
