The Importance of Specificity in Weightlifting

Bodybuilders, obviously, they're building the GPP. So there's a lot of GPP where like for me for soccer weights was just not a big thing. We might go to the gym twice a week, hit some trap bar deadlifts and some split squats. And then over time, as they start working their way up, obviously specificity increases. The same thing happens even in Russia. They've been lifting for a long time. They have good leverages.
