The Benefit of the Doubt

I think that there's some value in allowing some athletes to struggle out on the big stage. That can drive them to a growth that they probably wouldn't have gotten otherwise. We need to be very, very sensitive to what things look like. What is the aesthetic appeal of our sport for somebody just walking by?
