The Role of Statins in Stroke Prevention
Antiplatelets are going to be one pillar of our stroke prevention regimen. After someone has had an ischemic event, either suspected or confirmed, we usually go for the high intensity statins. The main ones are Lipitor, which is Atorvastatin, or Crestor, which is Resuvastatin.
