Yeah. And even formaldehyde, which you referenced in relation to alcohol, which is obviously, you know, it's carcinogenic, but our own bodies produce it. And foods that are otherwise extremely healthy also contain tiny amounts of formaldehyde, like bananas contain formaldehyde. Do that. I didn't know that. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. There's formaldehyde in the food environment.

Yeah. I mean, there's also certain fruits that contain cyanide as well. There we go. Like apple seeds and things like that. Yeah. Very small amounts. Yeah. Apple seeds, exactly. But yeah, it's just, it's just, you know, I don't know, again, I don't know how many times we have to say the dose is something makes the poison before it actually sinks into people's heads. But yeah.

What about the, there's this common perception that protein eating too much protein? Cause you know, something in the wellness industry that I'm sure you've, your privy to is that a lot of us now at this point with platforms are talking about the value of protein cause I think for so long it's been underappreciated and we're starting to see the role that it plays in muscle health which is being viewed as increasingly important to longevity. But still a lot of people harbor this, this perception that protein if you eat too much of it,

it's gonna cause cancer. Yeah, no, I've definitely heard of that, that ideology and I think a lot of it stems from, you know, our research in showing how cancer cells can utilize protein sources or specifically the amino acids, specific amino acids to fuel processes which kind of worse in cancer. So the general assumption there is just because you see these amino acids essentially fueling cancer promoting processes, you could reasonably assume that protein causes cancer but as you know and I know and many other people who know that they consistently ignore too sometimes. A few things in life are binary, that's not necessarily how it works so you can't just make those causative correlations without sufficient evidence. But we know that there are some metabolic processes that are impacted in cancer cells that are directly related to, you know, we've spoken about and even joked last night at the steakhouse about M-tore. You know, these amino acids, they can fuel processes like promoting M-tore to, you know, sustain cancer cell growth. But again, that doesn't mean that you restrict somebody of amino acids and you're suddenly just going to stop M-tore from doing its thing. There's going to be other adaptations that if you restrict those nutrients to cancer cells, they'll just adapt a different mechanism to enable their survival. So it's not so easy as as starving a specific resource as people like to believe, unfortunately. I wish it was that simple but it's just, it's also a good thing that it's not that simple too because I think life would cease to exist as we know it. If it were more binary. Yeah. 100%.
