Canyons Endurance 100k and 100 Mile
Races like the upcoming canyons 100k, 100 mile, 50k and 25k that runs out of Auburn, California. Runners have lots of time to prepare for a different course,. whereas I have seen races firsthand where those decisions are being made on the fly. Orca's 100 mile this year, not far from where I'm sitting right now, had super super high winds, they'd delay the race start by 12 hours.
