How to Maintain Electrolytes and Minerals as an Athlete

The first thing every athlete needs to pay attention to is the amount of electrolytes you get. The electrolytes and minerals that your body needs to maintain are sodium and potassium. A lot of athletes especially low carb athletes can feel pretty shitty when they do not consume enough sodium. Average adult it is recommended to get 4.5 grams of potassium per day.
