Over time we can take a kid who walks in the gym squatting 115 For three sets of five and we can get him to 315. He's gained 35 40 pounds a useful body weight Now do we care about his abs? No, because we're not concerned with that particular adaptation. We're not concerned With his body fat percentage as an adaptation What typically happens Is that if he comes in completely out of shape And he gains a much weight his body fat Percent may go up one or two percent but the presence of bigger muscle bellies under the body fat makes him look what you would call better.
