The Art of Self Compassion

The first step in becoming free from the bonds of anger and hatred is to just recognize what's there. Yuon approach this through tenderness, through kindness, through compassion. This allowed me to suddenly experience what it felt like to be ok with not being ok. Rightthere, i was no longer feeling hatred towards the hatred i was feeling. Ah, really quickly, i want a high light. I have a poster hanging here in my office behind me. It says, no mud, no lotus. The idea here is that we don't want to reject or push away what we are experiencing in life. We want to turn and face it and and be with it.
