Prebiotics - Is That Always Problematic?
High protein diets are always linked to high production of hydrogen sulfide gas. So we can use prebiotics like glycolagosaccharides, lactulose, fructoseagcharides to help prevent the production of those protein production metabolites as well as focusing on reducing the amount consumed. But I think sometimes we forget that the sulfur and amino acids in meat can also feed, and do feed, at least that one species of hydrogen sulphide gas.
