The Limits of Work Memory
Working memory is a limited internal store of information. It's 7 plus or minus two kind of elements and associated interactions at any one time. When we think about things, when we sleep on them, that information can make its way up into our long-term memory. And when it's in our long- term memory, that's when we kind of say it's been learned. Craig: "I had always just thought knowledge was a bit of a waste of time"
