What Are the Different Phases of Sleep?
Sleep and wake behavior are one slash two, depending on how you look at it. There's no part of the body that goes untouched if you're not getting good sleep. Your body wants to sleep more, but you're not giving it that. If we have selective suppression of REM sleep or don't get enough deep sleep, those critical physiologic processes aren't happening.
