There is no value to consuming anything other than water if you are exercising for less than 60 to 90 minutes. It's only the serious forms of exercise that you should think about taking on board carbohydrates. So what people should take away from this is folxing on protein and carbs, pre in post work out, but not worrying too much about the timing of that.
