Variety Versus Consistency

For most people, train with like a basic version of the movement first. But if your goal is to become a power lifter or learn the planch, then you do want to be quite consistent because that's the only way to get it. Even for some one who are very interested in training, there is benefit just testing what your strength is like in a different setting. It will also feedback into the other lift. Because even with a typical lift, it's always slightly different momentum and fatigue levels. And shoes might change, the floor might change. I'm an advocate for barefoot shoes, and in particular, and if you're running tr like doing trail runs in barefoot shoes
