How to Keep Your Average Power Up

I think there's like a ego aspect to it is that people want their, I kind of fall into this trap, people want their average power to look really good. Just don't worry about the average power because just go by heart rate. Heart rate versus power for VO2 max training or RPE or something else or a combination of all. You should be getting close to your limit. But then I also would tell them if your power is not there, then just do what you can and just, I mean, do the most power you're able on that day, but don't just give up.
