NASA has been trying to build a way to get back to the moon for decades. The rocket launched successfully tonight, and it's now in orbit around Earth. It will then do a translunar injection burn, basically the burn to get it on the path to the moon. That hasn't happened yet, but it should happen in the next hour or so. And then this capsule will go sort of around and behind the back of the moon,. This is going to go very close to the moon's surface as close as 80 miles from its surface.
