The Postprandial Inflammatory Response

With every meal, you're releasing a little bit of endotoxin in the bloodstream because your immune system is activated. With exercise, there's an anti-inflammatory response and anti-oxidative response much more powerful than the initial stressor that occurred. There may be an evolved mechanism to kind of activate alittle bit of inflammation by getting things kicked up in your body. I think we were talking about this in terms of the evolution of depression but it would have figured out a way not to do that over millions of years.
