The Importance of Cultural Invasion
Cultural invasion is an inherently violent process as it attempts to reduce the invaded to mere objects who may be acted upon by the invaders. Once this is achieved the invaded might not only accept the invasion but also begin to take on attributes of the invading culture itself. This duality which was described earlier explains why invaded and dominated individuals at certain moments of their existence almost adhere to the oppressor thou. Educated professionals are necessary in any society and exist in kind of a middle ground between the dominating class and the dominated class.
