Do You Have to Start Early to Fuel Your Carbohydrate?

I would recommend to start as soon as possible. The guard is still working very well. So it'll absorb things without any problems. Three, four hours into a hard race that may be very different and absorption may become impaired - gastric emptying may become impaired. You could have started very early on with like small-ish amounts. I mean, the second reason would be if your target is 90g an hour for a certain duration of a race. If you skip the first two hours and you still want to get to 90g anhour for the entire duration of the race, you really have to increase your intake in the second part of the race.
