The Benefits of Taking a Week Off of Training

Taking a complete week off of training is probably the best way to truly resensitize skeletal muscle to the training stimulus, but that complete rest does come at a cost as well. So I'm optimistic that there's a certain way to design a D load or some sort of like actually targeted resensitization period in order to elicit a net positive effect compared to a continuous training group.
