John C Lily's Dolphin Point Experiments

John C. Lily developed the isolation tank while working for the National Institute of Mental Health, 1954. He studied how bottlenose dolphins vocalized and established centers in the U.S. Virgin Islands later San Francisco to study these fascinating creatures. His assistant Margaret Howe worked with a dolphin named Peter horny Peter attempts at complex interspecies communication. Timothy Francis Leary was an American psychologist and author known for his strong advocacy of psychedelic drugs. The Concord Prison Experiment designed to evaluate whether the experiences produced by the psychoactive drug Silasiven could inspire prisoners to leave their anti-societal lifestyles behind once they were released. Good Friday experiment on Boston University's Marsh Chapel conducted under supervision of Richard Alpert
