Social Mobility and Attitudinal Behavior

The unwritten behavioral and attitudinal codes that govern our lives, they differ from situation to situation from group to group. So we are aware of the different norms that exist in different contexts. And as researchers have pointed out recently, sometimes it is norm violation that can be most influential for social mobility and acceptance. I think cool and being cool has kind of this really strange brittle cultural logic.
